The new CIX Secure Stack commercial/industrial chimney system from Laval, Quebec-based Security Chimneys, a division of Lennox Hearth Products, is a robust and lightweight system designed for ease of installation across a wide range of applications. It is a modular, double-walled, positive-pressure chimney with two inches of high-density Rockwool insulation for a cool outside surface temperature. It is available in five different material configurations using 304-316 stainless steel and Galvalume and is available in diameters from five to 36 inches. A self-centering design simplifies and accelerates the installation process, reports the manufacturer. Certified for commercial, grease duct and diesel exhaust applications, the CIX chimney meets or exceeds Canadian ULC-ord959 and Canadian ULC–S604 chimney and grease duct UL 1978 standards.
