Trane’s new Performance Climate Changer line of air handlers incorporates the best features of a standardized, packaged air handling system with much of the flexibility of a custom line. They are designed to provide a comfortable environment in commercial, industrial and institutional buildings while achieving high levels of energy efficiency. With an innovative casing design, factory-installed controls and a menu of advanced, energy-saving options, these air handlers clean, filter, dehumidify, heat and cool air, playing a key role in a high-performance building HVAC system. Engineers can do their own design or work with a Trane sales engineer to select the right unit for their building or application. Features include:
• ASHRAE 111 Class 6 low-leak casing design that achieves less than 1.0 percent air leakage at +/- 8 inches w.g. static pressure • Two-inch, R-13 foam-injected panels with internal thermal breaks to improve energy efficiency • Numerous fan options • AMCA 611-certified Traq airflow monitoring system that allows direct measurement and control of outdoor and return airflow • New efficient Trane filters • Options for energy recovery and dehumidification, including Cool, Dry, Quiet (CDQ) desiccant dehumidification
