The VIP event invites select members of the skilled trades to gather for fun, camaraderie and hands-on experiences.

Elyria, Ohio — Ridgid is accepting applications for its sixth annual Ridgid Experience contest. The Ridgid Experience 2023 will be held on June 7 to 9 in Elyria, Ohio. Applications will be accepted until March 24.

Winners of this year’s contest will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to its world headquarters, a headquarters tour, a custom Ridgid pipe wrench, a photo shoot, suite seats to watch a Cleveland Guardians baseball game, and a trip to Topgolf.

“You definitely need to enter to win a chance to go to the Ridgid Experience. It’s a trip of a lifetime, behind-the-scenes info, lots of fun, you’re treated like a rockstar, I guarantee you it’s worth it,” said Alan Carlson, contest winner from Ridgid Experience 2022.

To enter, participants must be 21 and fill out an application form. The form includes questions that ask participants about their favourite Ridgid tool and why they were inspired to work in the trades. Contest winners will be selected based on their response to questions, trade involvement, enthusiasm for Ridgid tools as displayed in a submitted picture or video of them with their favourite Ridgid tool, and originality and uniqueness of entry.

During last year’s contest, two Canadians scored themselves trips. Derek Newton from Kirkland Lake, Ont, and Mary-Anne Bowcott, owner of Westcom Plumbing and Gas in Sooke, B.C.

“I can’t say enough about how amazing the past few days were. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to go to the Rigid Experience 2022 and meet so many fantastic people, check out the headquarters, and go on some pretty awesome outings. I’m over the moon and still just can’t believe that I got to do this,” said Bowcott.
