CIPHEX tradeshow turns virtual

By Plumbing & HVAC Staff on August 13, 2020 News
CIPHEX West will be returning back to an in-person tradeshow in November 2021. This year, it will take place in a virtual format.

The 2020 CIPHEX tradeshow and conference for the plumbing, hydronics, and HVAC/R industry will be going virtual. From November 2 to 27, participants will be able to engage with a national audience of contractors, wholesalers, engineers, builders, renovators, designers, general contractors, government and municipalities, utilities and other industry decision-makers.

It will include all elements that come with the physical event. The “face-to-face” event will be returning in November 2021.

The virtual booths will include logos, company information, product information, and promotional videos. Networking features will allow attendees to contact exhibitors and vice versa.

After the show, a complete list of the visitors that entered a company’s booth will be available to exhibitors. When “new products” are uploaded to a company’s virtual booth, the system will automatically display them in the general “new product” area.

There will be a passport program with prize draws to encourage attendees to “check-in” at booths to help build booth traffic.

Throughout the four weeks, the booth will be open to visitors to get company and product information, view videos, and email with any questions or requests.

There will be three special “live” days where exhibitors can chat, video chat, or email “live” with attendees in the booth. Each day will have a different live-time (four-hour) period according to the different time zones around Canada.

November 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (eastern time), November 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (eastern time, and November 19 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (eastern time) are scheduled as the designated live day events.

The CIPHEX Virtual can be accessed from a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device. A full program of webinars will be offered throughout the four weeks. The virtual format will allow the show to offer a wide selection of exhibitor presentations.

Exhibitors have two options concerning presenting webinars. The first includes a 30-second video advertisement, which would precede the webinar. A promo code can be sent to customers so that they can register for the virtual trade show and one webinar for free. Following the session, a list of webinar attendees will be given to the host of the webinar. This option costs $250.

The second option involves a webinar presentation and a 90-second video advertisement preceding the presentation. A promo code will be available to send to customers to register for the virtual trade show and three free webinars between Nov. 2 and 27. This option costs $400 and will also include a list of webinar attendees.

Exhibitors already confirmed for CIPHEX West (now taking place in November 2021) will have their information imported and posted in the CIPHEX West eBooth to get them started.

The CIPHEX team is available for assistance if needed with the virtual booth software.
