Etobicoke, ON—The first-ever CIPHEX Virtual has wrapped up their month-long event. The show ran from Nov. 2-27, 2020 and brought industry members from across Canada together for industry training, product knowledge, and networking.
The event featured virtual exhibits featuring manufacturers, 22 training sessions, online networking, and discussion boards.
The show registered 1,457 industry members (1,143 attendees and 314 exhibitors) with 668 of the registered attendees visiting the show at least once.
“CIPHEX Virtual supported the need for product and technical training and showcased some of the exciting innovations taking place in our industry and the companies behind them,” said CIPH chair of the board Gail Kaufman, vice president of Marketing & eBusiness for Wolseley Canada. “We all want to get back to in-person events and have gained valuable insights that will enhance physical trade shows when we return to them, but in the meantime, CIPH is committed to offering innovative industry events and programs like CIPHEX Virtual.”
Most of the attendees were contractors (30 per cent), followed by wholesalers (20 per cent), and manufacturers (two per cent). The rest of the attendees were broken down into various other industry-related companies.
The online tradeshow was hosted by the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH).
