By Plumbing & HVAC Staff on March 22, 2017 News

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is seeking technical experts to participate on task groups relating to geothermal piping and photovoltaic systems.

The Geothermal Piping Task Group will review proposals regarding testing of u-bends and headers in geothermal systems and develop recommendations regarding testing requirements based on industry best practices. The recommendations, along with a report of underlying issues, will be forwarded to the Uniform Solar Energy & Hydronics Code Committee (USEHC) Technical Committee for review.

The scope of the Photovoltaic Task Group is similar. Anyone interested should visit http://forms.iapmo.org for an application. More information is available from Les Nelson at (909) 218-8112 or by email at les.nelson@iapmo.org.
