Ontario, California — The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) launched a new portal for its codes. IAPMO’s Codes Portal allows industry members to comment, submit proposals, view reports, and much more in one location.
To be able to access to codes portal, members will have to create a profile, which will allow the user to submit code public proposals and comments, view the report on proposals and comments, save proposal or comment drafts, view submitted proposals and comments, obtain contact information for the code’s technical liaisons, access code development timeline, and access read-only publications.
The association is calling on its members and other interested parties to get involved in the code development process. IAPMO is a publisher of the Uniform Plumbing Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, Uniform Solar, Hydronics and Geothermal Code, and the Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code.
