The networking and seminar-based event will take place April 15-16 at the Beanfield Centre in Toronto (located near the Exhibition Grounds).

It kicks off with a networking meet-and-greet April 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. And then it’s all business April 16 beginning at 7:30 a.m. Leading industry experts will speak throughout the day.

A presentation entitled “Shaping the Future of Construction: A Breakthrough in Mindset and Technology” which will look at publications released by the World Economic Forum. After a short break, the conference will get into a presentation about the growth of the digital economy in Canada. Peter Van Beek, a professor at the University of Waterloo will present “Data Analytics through Artificial Intelligence”.

After lunch, Corey Diamond, executive director of Efficiency Canada, will present the keynote address entitled “Energy Efficiency – What the Future Holds.” That will be followed by “Modular Construction and BIM – What they mean for the Industry.” The final presentation will be about technologies available to the industry presented by Rob McKinney, a self-taught construction technologist.
