Toronto, ON — Milwaukee Tool Canada is supporting skilled trades workers by donating 100 tool kits to the United Association Canada (UA).
The tool kits include a variety of premium Nitrus Carbide and Sawzall blades and will be distributed across UA’s 30 training centres across Canada.
As Milwaukee Tool states, the donation will provide UA plumbing and pipefitting industry members with the essential tools needed to succeed in their careers and contribute to its growth.
“The support we’ve received for the apprenticeship system, especially in schools, has been invaluable. From a safety point of view, the switch to battery means no cords to trip over. In our training facilities, you don’t have that tripping hazard, which has been outstanding and is the primary reason we switched to using Milwaukee throughout,” said Jamie McPherson, training specialist at UA Canada.
UA Canada represents over 61,000 skilled piping professionals in ten Red Seal trades. This donation will help ensure that UA members have access to the latest in high-quality, durable tools built to withstand the demands of everyday applications.
