Navien has received the 2020 Energy Star Canada award for Manufacturer of the Year – HVAC. Presented by Seamus O’Regan, Canada’s minister of natural resources, the Energy Star Canada Award recognizes manufacturers that have demonstrated excellence in developing and promoting the most energy-efficient products available to the Canadian market.
“This award is a true honour that we accept with deep gratitude,” said Scott Lee, Navien Inc. CEO. “Navigating, energy and environment are the three words from which our company name was created. We continually focus on cutting edge technology to develop solutions that benefit both customers and the environment. All of the tankless water heaters, combi-boilers, and boilers that we sell in Canada are Energy Star certified.”
Navien received the award in recognition of the company’s efforts to provide increased education and awareness about their Energy Star certified combi-boilers and boilers to installing contractors, service technicians, building facility managers, building owners, wholesalers, architects, and specifying engineers.
Navien promoted two new Energy Star certified products through direct e-mail campaigns, contractor training programs, customer visits, lunch and learn engineering meetings, hands-on contractor training on job sites and at its training centre, the Navien Canadian Academy, in Woodbridge, Ont.
