Surrey, BC — FortisBC and CLEAResult, an energy program provider, are introducing a best practices guide and training program to increase awareness about the gas absorption heat pump (GAHP) technology.

The one-day event will be held on May 16 at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey, B.C.

According to the association, GAHPs can help reduce energy and greenhouse gases for institutional, commercial and industrial customers across Canada. The free event will be open to all industry stakeholders and will focus on the best practices for implementing a GAHP strategy.

As part of the training program, guests will learn about the GAHP technology, funding opportunities and rebates offered through FortisBC, the latest developments, best applications and more.

The event will also allow guests to network and tour a trade show floor.
