Saint John, NB — NTI Boilers was recognized for its efforts in the Southwestern New Brunswick Newcomer Connections program, which helps new skilled professional immigrants integrate into the community.
NTI Boilers was awarded second place for “Newcomer Employment Champions: Engagement” for its work as a hiring cooperative through the program.
As part of the program, NTI matches newcomers to Saint John with available jobs at their company that suit their skills. Additionally, the program provides tips and training on how to assist newcomers in their adjustment and assimilation into life in New Brunswick.
As stated by NTI, “We are honored to receive this award, and look forward to continuing their mutually successful business relationship with Newcomer & Community Connections of the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick and Working NB.”
