Resources available on the RESCON website regarding COVID-19 safety in the workplace.

Vaughan, ON — Ontario-based construction association provides resources for builders and contractors on how to register for their COVID-19 vaccine. The Residential Construction Council of Ontario (RESCON) has added additional details to their website regarding rapid testing, vaccine policy, health and safety best practices, and a guidance sheet outlining steps contractors can take to find out where and when they can receive their vaccine. The information can be found on the COVID-19 information section of the website.

“The health and safety of those who work in our industry have always been the paramount concern of RESCON,” says Andrew Pariser, vice-president of RESON. “This website information is another tool to ensure that everybody has the information they need to stay safe, get tested and find out where they can get vaccinated. The key to ensuring our industry remains safe and leads the Ontario economy out of this recession is rapid testing and vaccinations.”

The vaccine guidance sheet is updated by the association’s policy and programs analyst, Ahd AlAshry, weekly.

In addition, the site provides links to posters and flyers with information from safety measures such as glove sanitizing and correct handwashing techniques, and proper use of face coverings on worksites.

“We continue to do our part to keep our members and the construction industry informed and safe with the latest and up-to-date information on COVID-19,” says Pariser.
