Reed Instruments, Newmarket, Ont., unveils their new C-383 combustible gas leak detector.

The C-383 can detect a range of gases, including natural gas, methane, benzene, ethane, propane, butane, acetone, alcohol, ammonia, gasoline, jet fuel, industrial solvents, lacquer, paint thinner and naphtha. It can detect leaks as small as five ppm of gasoline. The C-383 features a tricolour LED bar indicator and a 15-inch gooseneck.
