Brampton, ON — Rheem announces it is adding legacy Nordyne/Nortek Global HVAC (NGH) brands to its Canadian product offering.
Founded in 1919 in St. Louis, Missouri, NGH is a manufacturer of HVAC equipment, specializing in manufactured housing equipment since the 1930s. Their leading brand in this sector is Intertherm. In the 1980s, the company introduced its residential unitary products under the Maytag and Frigidaire brands.
As stated in the press release, “Adding the legacy Nordyne brands reinforces Rheem’s commitment to building and expanding our air products portfolio and positions Rheem Canada to support and grow in the manufactured housing and residential segments.”
With this announcement, Rheem will assume all sales functions for NGH effective immediately. Additional operational functions will be implemented under the Rheem Canada umbrella over the coming months.
