Cambridge, ON — Saniflo Canada is offering up to 20 scholarships to qualified trade school students attending Ontario colleges. Saniflo’s Apprentice Journey Plumbing Scholarship is done in association with Support Ontario Youth.
Collège Boréal, Humber College and La Cité Collegiale will offer two scholarships to eligible apprentices. Conestoga College and Mohawk College will distribute four scholarships to qualified candidates.
“Industry manufacturers have a responsibility to support up-and-coming trade apprentices in order to secure the successful future of our trade industry,” said Phill Warren, Saniflo Canada’s managing director.
The scholarships will help to cover Level 1 tuition costs and books for the 2022/23 academic year. In addition, Saniflo is offering ongoing support to help cover Level 2 and Level 3 tuition and books for qualified students who continue to pursue and complete all levels of the 306A Plumber (Apprenticeship) College Certificate Program.
Students applying for the scholarships must be registered in Level 1 of the 306A Plumber (Apprenticeship) College Certificate Program. Additionally, students must achieve grades of 75 per cent (3.5 GPA or B plus) and above, and they must have an attendance rate above 80 per cent.
One of the students selected from each college will be female or a student that identifies as female.
