The Buildings Show and BUILDEX Alberta headed online

Toronto, ON — A pair of construction-related conferences are being combined into a single digital platform due to uncertainties related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Buildings Show, which was scheduled to run in Toronto from December 2 -4, and BUILDEX Alberta, set for Calgary November 4-5, are being combined into Buildings Week.

Running from November 30 through December 4, Buildings Week will be a virtual event comprised of exhibits and conference sessions associated with The Buildings Show, Construct Canada, PM Expo, HomeBuilder & Renovator Expo, World of Concrete Toronto Pavilion and BUILDEX Alberta.

The Buildings Show and BUILDEX Alberta are coming together to create a national digital platform that virtually connects more than 70,000 design, construction and real estate professionals across Canada at Buildings Week, November 30 – December 4, 2020.

According to the owner of the events, Informa Canada, Building Week will offer attendees, “everything you have come to rely on from our face-to-face events.” Including:

  • Interactive panel discussions with industry thought leaders;
  • The chance to earn con-ed credits from OAA, BOMA, ARIDO, CAHPI, OBEC, AAA and IDCEC;
  • Virtual booths and an online marketplace; and
  • Live product demonstrations.

Registration to the digital platform will open soon and is free for all industry trade professionals. The early bird deadline for discounted education programming expires Friday, November 13.
