Mississauga, ON — Canada has voted and the Hard Bean Brunch Co, Port Moody, B.C. has the best restroom.
This comes as part of Cintas Canada’s annual contest.
The Hard Bean Brunch Co. features individual and gender-neutral stalls; each fully enclosed stall is equipped with a sink for total privacy.
The other finalists for the contest were Forest Pavilion washrooms (Winnipeg, Man), the Gathering Place washrooms (Vancouver, B.C.), Yesterday’s Auto Gallery (Edmonton, Alberta), and the Big Apple (Colborne, Ontario).
Canada’s Best Restroom contest has run for 14 years and highlights businesses that have developed and maintained exceptional washrooms that are accessible to the public.
Nominees for the competition are judged on five criteria — cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements.
Last year’s winners were Majesty and Friends in Edmonton, Alta.
