Mississauga, ON — The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) announces two new partnerships with SkillCat Inc. and the Electric and Gas Association (EGIA) to provide training to skilled trades workers.
Both partnerships will see HRAI enhance its on-demand technical education portfolio. Specifically, HRAI will market and distribute SkillCat’s learning platform, which is a digital tool that combines self-paced technical modules, troubleshooting simulations, and real-world skill-building experiences. This platform is available for technicians, installers, and apprentices and features courses on HVAC, diagnostic tools, and calculators.
“The partnership supports HRAI’s mission to strengthen Canada’s HVACR workforce through innovative, flexible, and practical learning solutions. By integrating SkillCat into its national training ecosystem, HRAI continues to expand its educational reach, offering professionals across the country more opportunities to develop their technical expertise and advance their careers,” states HRAI via its press release.
Through its partnership with EGAI, HRAI will promote EGIA’s Contractor University and HVAC Distributor University training platforms to Canadian HVAC contractors and distributors.
Canadian-based HVAC Contractors will now have access to EGIA Contractor University through a dedicated HRAI-branded platform. All HRAI members are eligible for a 10-day free trial that includes access to the full training library, a customized business evaluation and training roadmap, one-on-one coaching sessions, and 24/7 expert support. After the trial period, HRAI members are eligible for an exclusive membership discount for ongoing access.
Additionally, Canadian-based HVAC distributors will be eligible for discounted access to EGIA’s HVAC Distributor University, which focuses on developing HVAC distributor sales teams by combining on-demand online training courses with live workshops.
