Ridgid, Elyria, Ohio, releases its first PEX expansion tool, the RPE 100 PEX expander. Built for residential plumbing contractors, service plumbers and commercial installers, the RPE 100 features threaded and interchangeable heads, making it adaptable for common plumbing jobs. The RPE 100 fits tubing sizes ranging from 3/8-inch to one-inch PEX Type-A tubing.
It also features AutoReturn technology, which automatically returns the expansion head to the closed position after each expansion, as well as an ergonomic paddle trigger, dual-press activation, and a belt hook for portability.
