Atlanta, Georgia — DiversiTech Corporation, a manufacturer and supplier of installation, repair, and maintenance parts and supplies for the HVAC industry, announces it has acquired Ditek, a manufacturer of surge protection solutions.

The acquisition will unite both companies to deliver stronger product innovation, expanded services, and enhanced technical support across a combined portfolio serving the building trades and products serving the electrical, fire and life safety, networking, HVAC, and security markets.

“Joining forces with DiversiTech creates an exciting opportunity to build on Ditek’s legacy of innovation, quality, and customer commitment,” said Wendy Gattis, CEO of Ditek.

“Ditek brings outstanding surge protection design and manufacturing capabilities, along with a customer-centric approach and technical expertise that have made it a leader in its industry. We are excited to support Ditek as it continues to maintain the service, quality, and innovation its customers value while expanding the ways we can serve the HVAC/R market and electrical, fire and life safety, networking, and security markets together,” said Andy Bergdoll, chief executive officer of DiversiTech.

DiversiTech is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, while Ditek is based in Largo, Florida.
