Brantford, ON — Copeland is accepting registrations for its annual apprentice day celebration. Held for the past eight years on Oct. 24, Copeland created this event to strengthen the future of the HVAC/R industry through hands-on learning, industry collaboration, and skills development.
“As the industry continues to evolve with new technologies, refrigerants and sustainability requirements, workforce development remains a critical priority. Canada continues to face skilled labour shortages in the HVAC/R sector, creating an urgent need to attract, educate and support the next generation of technicians,” as said in the press release.
The event will take place at Copeland’s integrated learning centre in Brantford, Ontario and will feature three instructor-led training sessions: compressor troubleshooting, building and refrigeration management systems, and Vilter industrial compressors.
Guests at the event will also take part in a guided compressor teardown and have access to a miniature tradeshow experience. The tradeshow will feature technologies and brands from across the Copeland portfolio, including Sensi, Vilter, Cooper-Atkins, White-Rodgers, Copeland Mobile and low-global-warming-potential CO₂ solutions.
