Westport, Connecticut — Calling all innovators! The 2023 AHR Expo is accepting submissions for its 2023 Innovation Awards. Submissions are welcome until Aug. 9.
The winners will be announced during the 2023 AHR Expo, held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia, from Feb. 6 to 8.
The Innovation Awards aim to honour the most innovative, useful and original products, systems and technologies in the marketplace, reports the show. Exhibitors are encouraged to submit products and technologies to showcase solutions for new and existing challenges and new avenues for industry growth.
The competition is open only to companies with an accepted space contract and deposit payment on file for the 2023 AHR Expo. Additionally, only products that will be exhibited at the 2023 AHR Expo in Atlanta and available for sale by January 2023 may be submitted.
Exhibitors are permitted to submit one product per category. However, the same product may not be entered in multiple categories.
Products that previously won an Innovation Award are not eligible for submission, but products previously recognized as a finalist may be re-entered.
Once submitted, all entries are evaluated by a panel of third-party ASHRAE members.
Winners are then selected in 10 industry categories: building automation, cooling, heating, indoor air quality, plumbing, refrigeration, software, sustainable solutions, tools and instruments, and ventilation. An overall Product of the Year will be selected from the pool of category winners.
