Vancouver, B.C. — The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is seeking nominations for various awards.
The CaBC Awards plans to honour innovative projects, teams, and individuals who positively contributed to Canada’s green building sector. Nominations will be accepted until March 15.
The awards are a national competition split into two categories: green buildings and green building leadership. The first highlights the most impactful building projects, while the second highlights individuals’ and teams’ commitment, vision, and creativity.
Awards given through the green building category include zero carbon design, deep carbon retrofit, new construction and inspiring homes.
The green building leadership awards include green building champion and visionary, emerging green leader, and government leadership awards.
One lucky student also receives an award through the Andy Kesteloo Memorial Student Project Award. This award recognizes a student project that demonstrates leadership, innovation, and a creative vision for the future of sustainable design in green buildings and communities.
