Houston, Texas — Emco Corporation agrees to purchase MRC Global (Canada) ULC, a subsidiary of MRC Global Inc. based in Houston, Texas.
MRC Global is a distributor of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services. This agreement will allow Emco to expand into the oil, gas, mining, and other industrial sectors.
MRC Global Canada has nine locations in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. As per the agreement, MRC Global Canada will run separately as a division of Emco, with a rebrand to come in the next year.
The sale is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025.
