Greenville, Illinois — 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Enertech Global opening its doors. Founded on June 2, 1996, in Illinois, the geothermal heat pump distributor has sold over 250,000 units and has served over 3,800 contractors.
Enertech first distributed geothermal products in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. In 2001, the company expanded distribution into Minnesota and Wisconsin by forming Northern Geothermal.
In 2003, Enertech began distributing its own geothermal brand under GeoComfort. In 2007, the company purchased the Hydron Module brand and its 20,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility, forming Enertech Manufacturing.
