WaterFurnace, Fort Wayne, Indiana, introduces its new 7 Series with OptiDry. An optional feature for the 7 Series geothermal heating and cooling system, it includes integrated reheat coil dehumidification technology.
The geothermal heat pump requires no additional equipment, ductwork, electrical circuits, wiring, or dehumidstat. The patent-pending technology automatically switches between three modes — cooling-only, cooling with dehumidification, and dehumidification-only. It comes standard with a 10-year parts warranty and a five-year labour allowance for covered repairs.
