Cowansville, QUE — Granby Industries is celebrating a milestone, its 70th anniversary.
The air conditioning and storage company hosted an outside celebration, which saw 185 employees attend. Robert Piché was the guest speaker.
Piché was the commander of Air Transat flight 236, which saw the plane’s engines stop working, resulting in Piché gliding the aircraft without power for 157 km before landing.
During the event, Piché spoke with attendees about the importance of perseverance and self-trust.
Since opening its doors, Granby Industries has acquired several companies, establishing itself as a key player in the heating, air conditioning and storage industry, per its press release.
“Through skills development and training, we have encouraged internal promotion and created new management positions focused on empowerment and team collaboration,” shares Granby in a press release. “Our new managers encourage inclusive decision-making, contributing to a positive and dynamic corporate culture.”
Granby Industries adds that it is proud of its 10 year average seniority rate for all our employees.
