Parsippany, New Jersey — Two industry organizations are joining forces. Aiming to advance energy efficiency within the pumping sector, the Hydraulic Institute (HI) and the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) signed a memorandum of understanding on July 9.
Through this partnership, HI and CEE will collaborate to support the implementation of the CEE Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Pump Systems Initiative and the HI Energy Rating Program.
“Through this partnership, we’re ensuring that industry and efficiency program administrators have a clear, unified source of trusted product performance data,” said Michael Michaud, executive director of the HI. “We’re proud to work with CEE in building a strong foundation for pump energy efficiency that utilities and consumers across the United States and Canada can rely on.”
This collaboration will also see the HI and CEE maintain and enhance the HI Energy Rating Database as the designated CEE C&I Pump Systems Initiative Qualified Products List (QPL), incorporate CEE efficient specifications into HI’s product database, jointly promote energy efficiency and resources to advance public adoption/awareness, and safeguard proprietary/confidential data shared through this partnership.
