Toronto, ON — The Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is honouring its members with a slew of awards. The association is currently looking for nominees for the 2021 edition of the Warren Heeley Environmental Award, Life Member Awards and Merit Awards. Submissions are due by Aug. 6.
Every year, HRAI honours members and stakeholders with four awards relating to their contributions to the Canadian HVAC/R industries. In addition to the three listed above, there is also the president’s award which is given in recognition of a significant contribution to HRAI and the industry. The president determines the recipients of the award each year.
The Warren Heeley Environmental award is named after former HRAI president Warren Heely and highlights contributions to environmental services. The Merit award recognizes outstanding contributions to the development and progress of the Canadian HVAC/R industry. Lastly, the Life Member Award is handed out to individuals who have made a significant contribution to HRAI and the industry for 20 years or more.
