
Toronto, ON—Bell and Gossett is bringing its Little Red Schoolhouse training back to Toronto. The two-day hydronic seminar will be held on June 5 and 6 at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel.
Established in 1954, the Little Red Schoolhouse has educated over 70,000 engineers, contractors, and other hydronic HVAC and plumbing professionals.
The free training seminar will provide a comprehensive training program aimed at wholesalers and their contractors.
Day one will consist of:
- An introduction discussion on using hydronic systems to provide thermal comfort, including an overview of combustion and non-combustion heat sources
- Fundamentals and rules of thumb: Determining required flow rates, pipe sizing, and system friction losses
- Determining total pump head and hydronic proportional balancing strategies
- Pump and system performance curves: What are they and how to use them for final pump selection
The second day will feature a closed-loop hydronic system air management and pressurization seminar.
