MCEE 2021 cancelled due to pandemic

Volker Rühle, director of international sales for Glen Dimplex Thermal Solutions, came all the way from Kulmbach, Germany to display his company’s air-to-water heat pumps at the 2018 MCEE tradeshow.

The COVID-19 has claimed its next victim—or rather tradeshow. Due to the uncertainty related to the pandemic, the MCEE partners have made the decision to cancel the 2021 show, which was scheduled to take place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on April 7 and 8. The next MCEE tradeshow will take place in 2023.

“We are very disappointed that we won’t be able to welcome you in 2021, but we will stay in touch in the coming year as we plan to offer programming associated with MCEE,” reports the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) and the Corporation of Master Pipe Mechanics of Quebec (CMMTQ) in a joint press release.

A full refund for exhibit rental fees will be issued within the next few weeks. Exhibitors that paid via credit card will receive their refund to the same card. Those that paid by cheque or electronic transfer will receive their refund by electronic funds transfer.
