The showroom is located at 100-5118 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, B.C.

Burnaby, B.C. — Midea announces the grand opening of its flagship showroom in Burnaby, B.C. In partnership with NAHVAC, the 20,000 sq. ft. facility includes a 3,000 sq. ft. showroom and will serve as a hub for contractor training, product education, and community engagement.

The grand opening event was commemorated with guests receiving red envelopes to symbolize “good fortune and partnership,” reflecting Midea’s commitment to local collaboration. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, there were product demonstrations and interactive zones featuring Midea’s heat pump systems.

Special guests of the event included Mike Hurley, the mayor of Burnaby, and Phil Huang, head of Midea RAC North America.

“We welcome innovative businesses like Midea to join our vibrant community,” said Hurley. “Their energy-efficient technologies align perfectly with Burnaby’s 2025 carbon-neutral vision. This showroom is more than a business, it’s a catalyst for sustainable progress. Congratulations on this exciting achievement!”

“As the first Midea showroom in Western Canada, this facility represents our commitment to localized innovation and marks a significant step in bringing energy-efficient HVAC solutions to the region. As the only Chinese manufacturer with R&D centers in both the U.S. and Canada, our $5.8 billion investment in research and development enables us to redefine home comfort for Canadians across the country,” said Huang.

The showroom is located at 100-5118 North Fraser Way.
