Toronto, ON — Milwaukee Tool Canada celebrated 100 years by planting 100 trees on May 10. Thirty volunteers joined together at Rouge National Urban Park to mark the milestone.
Volunteers consisted of Milwaukee Tool Canada employees, media, students, and Craig Baxter, the group president of TTI Canada.
Tree Canada and Friends of the Rouge Watershed led the tree-planting project by providing the trees, tools, and training on how to plant trees properly and safely.
Tree Canada is a national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments. Friends of the Rouge Watershed is a group of custodians who monitor and maintain sections of the Rouge National Urban Park.
