Monitor radiant systems

0
By Plumbing & HVAC Staff on February 8, 2022 Product Watch

Viega, Broomfield, Colorado, introduces its new Auto-Balancing System for radiant heating (RABS), which allows the monitoring of return circuits in a radiant system. It gives users the ability to independently control each zone in a radiant heating system.

Balancing valves are not required. Installers can commission as many as eight thermo-stats and 12 circuits per control unit. It achieves the desired temperature by analyzing supply water temperatures. RABS can compensate for system inconsistencies such as different circuit lengths or tube sizes, varying installation clearances, and fluctuating supply temperatures.
