Ryan Kiscaden is a plumbing and HVAC/R representative who works for Watts and has 10 years of experience in the industry.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — Ryan Kiscaden, an HVAC/R and plumbing industry representative who works for Watts, has launched his own children’s book titled “The Water Came To A Stop” to promote the skilled trades amongst children. The book will be the first in a series titled Next Up Trades.

“Next Up Trades is an illustrated children’s book series that teaches children that the skilled trades are noble, necessary, and appreciated when completed. The reality is that in a time of a comfort emergency, skilled tradespeople are essential to solving our problems through their expertise in quality installations and maintenance. This series is my way to tell the industry’s story.” said Kiscaden.

The Next Up Trades series will highlight the importance of problem-solving, helping others and learning about the importance of skilled trades careers. The Water Came To A Stop is a story told in a residential plumbing setting and is targeted towards children aged four to eight years old.

Kiscaden adds that creating the series was his personal mission statement, “I want the plumbing, HVAC/R and electrical trades to grow, and it starts by changing the perception of the skilled technician.”

The Next Up Trades series will also cover careers such as HVAC/R, with the book “The Air Came To A Stop,” and electrical, with the book “The Power Came To A Stop.”
