Rehau has suspended operations in Russia and Belarus due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Rehau, Germany — Rehau Group announced it is suspending operations in Russia and Belarus until further notice, following the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Rehau Group has operations in Ukraine and is now focusing on the safety of its colleagues and their families in Ukraine and those that are leaving the country.
Via a press release, Rehau Group emphasized its position, stating, “As a company that operates in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, we strongly condemn the attack on Ukraine and its people. It is a war against humanity, the freedom of all of us and peace in Europe. And thus against the values for which we as a Rehau Group stand with all our subgroups we have decided to suspend our operations in Russia and Belarus until further notice.”
Rehau Group acknowledged that Russia had been an important market for them, and it hopes that the situation will soon change so that it can resume activities in both countries.
