Cindy Cogil (top left), Adrienne Johnson (bottom left), and Cathy Higgins (bottom right) will be the panellists of the Rehau webinar.

The world has been shifting towards more sustainable ways to build and operate homes. Whether it may be in the way it is heated/cooled or in the actual materials used to construct the home. This has started a conversation. Rehau will be running a webinar event on August 5 at 1 p.m. (EDT) to discuss how building mechanical teams are moving toward a zero-energy future

“In the past few months, it has been inspiring to see how a few changes in our lifestyles can have a monumental impact on the environment,” said Mike Dietrich, vice president of building solutions at Rehau. “We are delighted to host this expert panel to share with our customers and the industry at large how we can each play a role in the zero-energy future so many now aspire to.”

The “Scaling to Zero” panel will feature Cindy Cogil, PE, LEED accredited professional for building design and construction, principal and director of engineering for SmithGroup, Chicago, Illinois, Cathy Higgins, research director at New Buildings Institute, and Adrienne Johnson, associate engineer at Point Energy Innovations.

The panel will be hosted by Rehau and will focus on a discussion about major cities paving the way to zero-energy and the role building mechanical teams are already playing in the transformation.
