Toronto, ON — Skilled Trades Ontario (STO) announces that Candice White will be its new president.
Effective Nov. 25, White will replace Melissa Young in continuing STO’s mandate to grow and promote the skilled trades.
White brings over a decade of executive-level experience, including serving as the chief administrative officer for multiple municipalities, most recently the Municipality of Port Hope, and on boards of provincial agencies.
Within these roles, White “has a long track record of success managing organizations at a similar size and breadth as STO, and will bring her strong executive leadership to the organization,” as stated by STO in its press release.
Young served as president of STO since January 2022.
