Toronto, ON — It’s summer camp season! That means the return of Skills Ontario’s summer camp program, which runs from July to August for kids between Grades 7 and 9. The week-long camp program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., costing parents $250 plus tax per camper.
Students will be able to participate in hands-on activities, workshops, games, industry tours, and entrepreneurship programs.
Workshops are led by Skills Ontario counsellors and industry/college professionals who will introduce them to various topics in the industrial, construction, motive power, service, and technology sectors.
The camps are facilitated in partnership with colleges, and industry and community volunteers. Schedules vary per location based on available volunteers and programming.
Camp locations include Brampton, Toronto, Brantford, Belleville, Thunder Bay, Stoney Creek, Kingston, Guelph, Cambridge, Ottawa, Midland, Whitby, Windsor, Peterborough, Timmins, Sault St Marie, South Porcupine, and Sudbury.
