Toronto, ON — Toronto Hydro has partnered with Open Technologies to provide building owners with an AI-powered tool for decarbonization planning. The Virtual Decarbonization Planning tool, developed by Open Technologies, will offer eligible Toronto Hydro customers virtual building audits or virtual decarbonization plans at no cost.
The new tool will also utilize AI to determine a building’s current energy use and provide specific retrofit solutions to owners seeking to optimize energy savings and reduce emissions.
“This relationship is a huge step forward in providing Toronto building owners with the tools and information they need to make deep energy retrofits more accessible and scalable,” said Donovan Woollard, CEO of Open Technologies.
