Burlington, ON — A select group of lucky Canadian contractors may earn themselves a spot on a one-week adventure across Europe in 2026, courtesy of a Weil-McLain contest. The contest runs until Jan. 31, 2026, with the winners announced by Feb. 26, 2026.
The “Wave Rider 6” contest is open to the owner, manager, or senior buyer of a Canadian HVAC contractor. The winner is allowed to bring one guest with them on the trip (both of whom must be 21 years of age or older and a legal resident of Canada). If the contractor is an employee of a contracting business, and a dispute arises between the contractor and their employee, the prize will be awarded in the name of the owner of the business.
To be eligible, a minimum of 200 points needs to be earned. Contractors can earn the necessary points by purchasing the following products:
- 1 point: CG series
- 2 points: AquaBalance/Tanks
- 3 points: Evergreen (110, 155), ECO Tec/SGO/WGO/WTGO
- 5 points: Evergreen (220, 299, 399)/EG/EGH/GV90+/Ultra
- 7 points: LGB
- 10 points: 80 Series/SlimFit (550-750)/SVF (500-850)
- 15 points: 88 Series
- 20 points: 94 Series/SlimFit (1000-2000)/SVF (1000-3000)
Qualifying products must be purchased from an authorized Weil-McLain distributor or wholesaler between Feb. 1, 2024 and Jan. 31, 2026. Qualifying products must be entered into the official submission form at waverider6.ca on or before Feb. 1, 2026. In addition, if the contractor chooses to do so, they can buy the necessary points to qualify at $40 per point.
If the final number of qualifying contractors and their guests exceeds the accommodations available, Weil-McLain reserves the right to limit the number of participating contractors by selecting on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cruise ship and locations of the cruise will be confirmed by Feb. 28, 2026.
