Resideo, Scottsdale, Arizona, launches its new Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier. Developed to address changing trends in home construction and HVAC system design, the demidifier features a tri-directional outlet for fast installation. Standard MERV 8 filters and components are easily accessible, allowing contractors to replace any of the 19 individual components without needing to replace the entire unit. A magnet-mounted onboard controller allows the display to be custom-fitted for easy access.
It features built-in temperature, humidity, and differential pressure sensors, located on the inlet and outlet sides. A water leak detection rope automatically shuts the unit off to avoid water damage.
The Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier is available in 65-, 90- and 120-pints-per-day (PPD).
In addition to dehumidification, the 90- and 120-PPD models combine ventilation control for timed ventilation, damper management, and compressor activation based on outdoor air conditions.
