Bosch Thermotechnology, Mississauga, Ont, introduces a new addition to its inverter ducted split (IDS) family, the IDS Light. It is a 15 SEER inverter condenser solution that combines the Bosch Bova15 outdoor inverter condensing section with the BVA15 fixed-speed air handler. This allows the inverter to adjust to any speed between 33 per cent and 110 per cent (in one per cent increments), to cool and heat a home.
The IDS Light features a fully aluminum coil and is available in 24,000, 36,000 and 60,000 BTU capacity.
