Ottawa, ON — The Canadian Board for Harmonized Construction Codes (CBHCC) is seeking public review of its proposed changes to the National Building Code of Canada.
Participants will have until Feb. 24 to leave a review of the proposed changes.
The proposed changes aim to address the issue of “overheating” in Parts 1, 6, and 9 of the code’s “Overheating in New Dwelling Units” section. Specifically, the changes will add a maximum indoor air temperature for new dwelling units.
If approved, the change is set to be included in the 2025 edition of the National Model Codes.
