Mississauga, ON — The members of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) have elected their new chair of the board of directors for 2026-27. Norm Bajwa, senior vice president of plumbing sales at Bartle and Gibson, will serve as chair of the board of directors, succeeding Brent Cornelissen of +osb.
Bajwa was first elected to the CIPH board in 2019 and has served as chair of the annual business conference, chair of the membership committee, board liaison to the BC region, and chair and co-chair of the CIPHEX West trade show.

CIPH elected its new board during its annual general meeting on June 16 in St. Andrews, New Brunswick. As stated by CIPH, “As the newly elected board begins its term, its focus will remain firmly on supporting members, advocating for their priorities, fostering meaningful connections, and ensuring that CIPH remains a strong and effective voice for the industry, guided by its strategic plan – connect, advocate, inform, and deliver.”
