The MCEE trade show changed things up in 2023 and returned to the Palais des Congres Centre in Montreal, Que.

Montreal, QC — After a two-year hiatus, the MCEE show was back in full force in Montreal. Held from April 19 to 20, the mechanical and electrical trade show welcomed around 400 exhibitors and 7,000 guests, all occupying 65,000 sq. ft. of new products and the latest technology.

Held in downtown Montreal at the Palais des Congres Centre, guests could get their hands on the newest technology and products. The show reports that 82 per cent of guests stated that they came just for the new products.

“Communication breeds understanding, and understanding leads to appreciation,” said Ralph Suppa, president of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH). “Our goal was to exchange knowledge together to plan the trade show future for Eastern Canada and to work together with a vision to be the best that we can be to the industries we serve. Thanks to everyone! Mission Accomplished. Au prochain.”

The mechanical and electrical trade show welcomed around 7,000 guests at the 2023 MCEE trade show in Montreal, Que.

On the eve of the event, the MCEE show committee and the CIPH hosted its MCEE 2023 VIP reception at the Westin Hotel. The event allowed exhibitors and guests to mingle and network. During the reception, Suppa was honoured for his efforts and commitment to the industry as he is set to retire at the end of the year. He received a gift from the show committee as this marks his last MCEE trade show. His final message to the crowd was “Smile and keep doing what you doing.”

The VIP reception also showcased the winners of the New Product Competition. In total, 59 products were highlighted across nine categories. The winners were as follows,
